Bllod donation - 30 Oct 2009

When we reach Harborfront Centre, there was a blood donation drive.

On our way to the Mrt station, mei mei gladly shook hands with and took a balloon.

Mei mei is normally scare of mascot, but she love this one so much.

On the Mrt, she happily told us M&M gave her the balloon. Apparantly, she mistook the blood donation mascot for M&M!!!

Star Cruise holiday - 28 - 30 Oct 2009

Mama realise we can disembark and go on our own private tour too late!!! It was already 5pm when she learn of this!!! But still we just get to the "shopping mall" with 1 shop only at the cruise centre of Port Klang. The tiger that make the 2S so HAPPY!!!

The balcony is just so small. Enough space for 2 deck chairs only.

As the weather is cooling today, we decide to hit the zoo. Daddy had the excuse of not going to work!!!

East Coast Park Visit- 5 July 2009

Today is my 2nd visit to the East Coast Park. And is Mei mei's first!!
Ah yi and Yi Zhang bring along a few kites, and I take over the kite Yi Zhang is flying upon reaching.

Mei mei do not like the sand, and she refuse to step on it. So she spend most of the time on the mat.

But I love playing in the sand and I spend most of the afternoon hitting the sand.

The pass for the show was given out half an hour before the show start.
This is the hottest show I ever seen in the past 3 days. It was in an open area with no air conditioner!!!

Airport visit after Dora

My 2S refuse to go home after Dora, so we decided to visit the viewing mall to view aeroplanes.
As the view at T3 is not good, we make our way to T1 via Sky train.

After a long time looking at aeroplanes, I manage to get them away from the airport by promising to bring them to see cats and dogs at Eastpoint!!!

Dora the explorer- 20 June 2009

We reach the airport early as well, because I also forgot the timing of the show.
After learning that we need to spend either $70 by visa or $100 by other means to get the pass for the meet and Greet, I decide that Dora is too expensive to take photo with. (my colic, Jimmy bought Formula milk, but it was too heavy to lug back for me!!)

As mei mei did not eat much during breakfast, we went to Xin Wang. The congee I had ordered took a LONG time to arrive. Despite giving instructions for the porridge not to be salty, the congee is still too salty for mei mei liking. Mei mei refuse to eat anymore after like 3 mouthful. So I gave her milk instead. Then we make our way to the show.

As we are relatively late, we seated at very back for the whole show. As there are taller kids in front of us (the kids stand throughout the show) Sky did not enjoy it as he could barely see the stage. I had to carry mei mei. Sky demand me to carry as well, but there is no way I could do that so I told him to go nearer to the stage but he refuse.

The show is very nice, but its a little sad that my 2S are too small built!! If not they will like it even more.

Ben 10- 19 June 2009

We reach united square early as I forgot what is the time of the show.

So we went to see the Ben 10 mechandise to make a little purchase to qualified for the minimum spending of $30 so we can take a picture with Ben 10, 4 arms or wildmutt.

But as my 2S refuse to share the watch that I had bought, I had no choice but to purchase a 2nd watch. We loitered near the tickets redemption area to make sure that we are among the first 30 familes or we had to wait for the 7pm show. Redemption started 1 hr before the show.

After the ticket redemption, we went for a quick lunch. By the time we had finished, the queue to enter is terrible!!!

But the show is quite 'enjoyable', with villians showing good arcobat skills, somersaulting and doing flying kicks...

The day after the bash

June 2005 Baby bash - 13 June 2009

The party was held at a function room of a condo in the east side.

Seeing that its going to rain soon, I quickly book a cab to send us to the party venue.

My 2S first impression is the BIG swimming pool.

Shane and family had already arrive, so is TL's and family.

I quickly feed the children so they are in time for the magic show that is starting at 7.30pm.

While we are eating, more families arrive. Seeing @'s R and C self-feed, Sky volunteer to self-feed as well.

Very soon, the magician and crew start to arrive. It wasn't long before we manage to gather the kids and make them sit down to enjoy the show. Mei mei do not understand what is all the big fuss about, but sky enjoyed himself a lot. After the show, it is time for birthday show. Children who "parked" themselves in front of the candles blew it so quickly before anyone can stop them( we also sing a chinese version), so the candle was re-lit. Then there was balloon sculpting by the crew and we also celebrate the birthday of our CEO TL and Jaymom; The 2 ultra-on and efficient organiser on the thread.

Then the children played in the room while many small giftes are given out. Gift exchange also took place then. It was not long that Kiami actually offered to give us a lift home evn though Sky is reluctant to leave the place.

It was in June 2006 when I joined the thread, most other mummies started chatting online while pregnant, and we are still together!!!

Thomas and Friends- 6 June 2009

We had reach Marina Square at 1.30pm.
Upon reaching and yet seeing so many parents leaving the mall with their kids, I knew I had miss the 1pm show. (I was not sure of the timing)

But then mei mei start wailing for no reason, think she must be hungry.
We settle for a easy lunch of cakes at Anderson. Then we make a trip down to Kiddy palace so I can buy a few Nuby BPA free bottles that had being 20% off for members(normal 10%) during the GSS period.

Since I had manage to make a purchase of $30, we can have a go on the train. 1 train pass can sit 1 adult and 2 kids. So all 3 of us took a ride. Thanks the staff for being so understanding as I did not redeem the pass and yet they allow us to take the ride first and give the pass later. (I did return the pass after redemption. And to have a 2nd trip, I bought more items!!!!)

Mei mei was crying when we are queueing for the 2nd trip. She keep saying THOMAS...think she wanted to get on the train THIS BADLY. I decide not to accompany them on the 2nd trip, a BIG leap of faith that Sky will keep mei mei on the ride, and mei mei will sit down for the whole short trip.

After the ride, we went on to watch the performance.
Seem like it all talk and no train??? When Thomas finally appear, the show had end and it was time for photo-taking.

The ULTRA big 2kg cake design chose by Sky!! Design from e-creative.
But the colouring is too much, all our lips turn green and remain green after the cake.
The texture is not smooth, high chance, will not buy from them again..

Its so hard to get them to take picture together esp. the TV is on

Airport Visit- 21 Feb 2009

Sky suddenly realise the airport is VERY FAR AWAY while on the bus journey there.
Mei mei no longer a baby who sleep while we are on any bus journey, she only manage to doze off just before we reach the airport.

The kids are eager to see aeroplanes, but I had to tell them, they need to have their lunch before we go to the viewing mall.
After 1 hour or so, we arrive at T3 viewing mall, there is an aeroplane that actually take off before us, but the 2 pair of blur eyes, cannot catch the plane that is in front of them.
After loitering at T3 for sometime, I decide to make a move to T1 instead.

But the location unable us to see any take-off or touch-down. But we can watch stationary plane.
The kids also get a bit restless and start playing on the bars

But after too much walking, Sky acyually complain he is tired and wants to go home.
